Ono will wind up helping Pete, and will have fun telling Pete he told him so.

I've kept saying the phrase, "I don't sink so" in my brain in a funny German accent where the "s" sounds more like a "z".

He's the only man who's capable of surviving dramatic quicksand, by clawing his way out inch by slurping inch. Bonus ability, the quicksand can only suck one of his boots off.

That sounds super impressive. I like the sound of "dramatic" quicksand.

Yeah, he only has one boot, so maybe the fact the other is wooden will help him.

Oh, what a place to be.

Pete needs to do something to hold his ground and be quick with a response.

Pete will take a rope, branch or anything to get him out of this spot.
